William Hill US has finalized the purchase of sports wagering solutions provider CG Technology, a transaction that was authorized by Nevada authorities. This enables the operator to assume control of sports wagering operations at four more lodging establishments on the Las Vegas Strip.
Its sportsbooks are now operational at the Venetian, Palazzo, Cosmopolitan and Silverton hotels, providing self-service kiosks, as well as an expanded wagering menu, including live in-play wagering on both retail and mobile applications.
The agreement to acquire CG Technology was initially publicized last November and also encompasses providing sports wagering platform and risk management services for the Atlantis resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas.
“William Hill has long been a leading sports wagering operator in Nevada,” stated Joe Asher, the operator’s chief executive officer. “This acquisition further expands our reach, granting us a greater presence in some of the world’s most renowned resorts on the Las Vegas Strip.
“This is a very exciting period for our company as we continue to expand and introduce our products to new patrons.”
