Parimatch Russia has named Sergey as the leader of its growth in Central and Eastern Europe.
Sergey, who previously served as the chief executive of Parimatch CIS, will be in charge of developing the brand in Russia. He will also supervise the transition of Parimatch Russia from a Parimatch CIS enterprise to a franchisee of Parimatch Technology.
In July, Parimatch rebranded as Parimatch Technology as it transitioned to providing its marketing and technology as a business-to-business solution to franchise partners. The provider stated the change would also generate greater brand recognition for its technology solutions products among potential partners.
As a result, Sergey will be responsible for Parimatch Russia’s expansion in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) as it seeks local gambling licenses, as well as growth in the CIS market.
The CEE region includes Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
In the meantime, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) area encompasses Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
The leadership of Parimatch CIS will now be held by Yulia Leshkova, who previously held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Parimatch Belarus. No significant alterations to the organizational structure of the Russian branch are anticipated.
The Russian division of Parimatch is headed by Chief Executive Officer Ruslan Medvedev, and the company has reported substantial growth in recent years across various sectors. More detailed plans for development in the Eastern European region will be shared later in the coming year.
