Clarion Gaming has introduced a mentoring program for women, known as iGB Ascend, at the iGB Affiliate London event. The initiative seeks to offer professional advancement direction for women in the industry.

The program will equip mentors with resources to assist them in cultivating leadership abilities, bolstering self-assurance, and forging connections with other women.

As an integral component of Clarion Gaming’s iGB Affiliate London exhibition, the program will be inaugurated on April 13th at the ICC Capital Suite within London’s ExCeL at 12:30 pm.

The gathering will feature a buffet luncheon and roundtable discussions.

“For Ascend to be impactful and productive, it must reflect the genuine requirements of women within the sector,” stated Naomi Barton, Director of the iGB Portfolio. “Our objective is to leverage the launch to attentively consider women’s experiences in the gaming domain and guarantee that we are addressing concerns that are significant to them, aiding them in progressing to the subsequent stage in their professional journeys.”

To achieve this objective, we will have industry specialists leading discussions at the inaugural event. These leaders possess a deep understanding of the obstacles women encounter within the industry. They will steer conversations during a relaxed luncheon, concentrating on how Ascend can empower women.

Barton also mentioned the formation of an Ascend council comprised of female entrepreneurs, supported by an advisory board, to assist in defining their endeavors.

“We possess a robust marketing reach and will be promoting iGB Ascend throughout the year utilizing Clarion Gaming’s numerous channels, encompassing events, digital and print media, to deliver content, insights, networking opportunities, learning experiences, and support.”
