A group from Serbia has been granted the license to manage the national lottery in Kyrgyzstan. This alliance, comprising Serbian firms Elbet d.o.o and Axel Capital, secured the agreement following a rigorous tender procedure initiated in October 2021.

Kyrgyzstan’s Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center supervised the selection process, which concluded in November with the consortium’s appointment. The PPP Center emphasized the need for a swift signing of the final contract, after which the consortium will be formally registered in Kyrgyzstan.

Founded in 2002, Elbet d.o.o is a tech firm specializing in software solutions for the gaming sector. They possess a significant global footprint, collaborating with more than 80 operators internationally, including expertise with state-run lotteries. Established in 2002, Axel Capital Management is an investment company with a worldwide presence, concentrating on discovering investment prospects across diverse industries.

Prior to this role, Nikolayevsky held analyst positions at both Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Zweig-DiMenna Associates.
