BetMGM has debuted its mobile sports wagering platform in Puerto Rico, becoming the inaugural provider to achieve this milestone. This app enhances BetMGM’s existing physical sportsbook located at the Casino del Mar within the La Concha Resort in San Juan.
Puerto Rico granted legal status to sports wagering in February 2022. The BetMGM application provides a comprehensive array of betting choices, encompassing pre-game wagers, live betting, futures bets, and parlay bets. During the registration procedure, users situated in Puerto Rico are required to physically present their identification at the BetMGM sportsbook counter within the resort.
Sigfrido De Jesús, the general manager of Casino del Mar, conveyed his enthusiasm for elevating sports betting to a new standard in Puerto Rico. He emphasized the favorable effects this endeavor will have on both sports enthusiasts and the financial resources of the Treasury.
